Introduction

The Sri Lanka International Arbitration Centre being a regional hub for settlement of disputes arisen in consequence of international commercial agreements and such other international relations has been established on the 22nd floor of the World Trade Centre.

On 04th day of March, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to continue this Centre which is equipped with the state of the art facility.

In compliance with the Cabinet Decision that the relevant agreement be incorporated certain contents enabling the public institution to refer their matters for arbitration before this Arbitration Centre, it may be continued as an economically productive initiative as all Ministries should act accordingly.
